If you're a photographer or a parent, you know that photographing a 2 year old is probably the toughest age! Everyone get's frustrated because the child doesn't want to look at the camera and just wants to run around. My tip... let them be themselves and let them run!

In September I photographed darling little Breken for his newborn portraits. Last week I had the opportunity to photograph their entire family! The fall colors were gorgeous and the photos turned out great!

Yesterday I had the opportunity to photograph the Miles family, who are related to the Plummer's! Here's some of my favorites photos from our session.

This family really had me laughing with their idea of a family Halloween portrait. All of their costumes were great and very creative! Seriously, check out the Grandpa there in the middle and one of the dad's on the left side. I LOVE it!

Last week I photographed one of my favorite families... the Rudys! They've all changed so much since their last session and look fantastic! I love this bunch and also loved the beautiful red leaves and other amazing colors in the background of their photos :)

I thought this family session turned out quite well and figured I'd share :)

Again, I am so terribly behind on updating my blog. I'm skipping over a couple shoots but I did love a few of the photos from this particular family and wanted to share them! There's just something about this first photo that I love. Maybe it's the fact that the youngest has a cute star that she drew on her hand or maybe it's because the family was so down to earth and sweet. Either way,  I really enjoyed my time with the Munsons :)

Yesterday I photographed a very awesome family, the Burt's. They were so kind and easy to work with. Quite possibly one of the easiest larger family portraits to date! Either that or I was beyond patient that day. ;)

Saturday I headed up to Salt Lake to photograph Kassidy and Richard's engagements. They are such a sweet, bubbly and happy couple. Totally a pleasure to work with! :)

Back in June I photographed Lindsay and David's wedding and was so excited to take their family portraits today as well!

This last Friday I headed downtown to photograph Maria and Anthony's engagement photos. She looked through all my engagement portraits and loved everything about Memory Grove and photos by The Great Salt Lake. So we photographed at both locations! Lucky the weather was on our side the entire evening :)

Congratulations to Heather and Peter who were married this past Thursday at The Memorial House in Memory Grove Park!

My finial shoot of the weekend was of the Meier family. We decided on Memory Grove, which I soon realized looks amazing in photographs no matter the season!

My third and finial shoot of Saturday was of Shelley, Braun and Grey. Shelley told me that she found my site by doing a search on Google for family photographers in SLC. I felt special when she told me she went through so many photographers before choosing me!

This past Saturday I took some amazing portraits of Kenna and her gorgeous puppy! Kenna found me from an add I posted on KSL (Utah's largest and fastest growing classifieds website). I gave her a few different location options and she chose Memory Grove, which looks fantastic in the fall!

Malea & Jammal were married on August 17, 2008 and are such a sweet couple.
