LDS wedding photography
Sorry for the nearly year long delay in blog posting! Life as been so busy, I resorted to posting updated photos on Facebook only!!
Please check them out as my website is getting rather outdated. www.Facebook.com/PhotosByWendyG
Two days after Christmas I had the pleasure of photographing Arielle and Phill's wedding day! It was gorgeous out and I always enjoy making brides tramps through the snow and freeze their toes ;) They were such awesome sports and so much fun to work with!
A big congratulations to Kim and Layne who were married in the Bountiful Temple on the super hot, sunny day of June 28th! They were so easy to work with, even in the extreme heat! I also loved the blue they chose for their wedding party!! Very very pretty.
Get ready for a fabulous wedding post with a lot of beautiful photographs! First, I'd like to start off saying Congratulations to Whitney and Michael on their wedding in the Manti Temple on the 3rd of May! We got sooo many stunning photos and the fun continued the following day at their reception. I seriously adore this couple and their family so much!
A big congratulations to Kelly and Jeremy who were sealed together with Kelly's daughter in the Salt Lake City Temple on April 29th! I was so excited to hear that they'd be traveling from Louisiana for this special occasion. It was so cute to hear Kelly say "This is so beautiful! These are things I've only seen in pictures!" <3
On the 21st of December I had a wonderful time photographing Roxanne and Brandon's wedding day at the Bountiful Temple! It was a super sunny, yet freezing cold day out. Luckily the couple's burning love for each other sort of kept the bride's arms warm ;) I totally adore these two!
Congrats to Julie and Shon who were married in the Bountiful Temple on the 12th of December! It was a cloudy, chilly day, but we got some beautiful photographs. Julie was debating whether or not to even have a photographer... I'm so glad she decided to find one and that she picked me! I love this couple.. they were so sweet and extremely pleasant to work with :)
Congrats to Adam and Sharlee who were sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on the 17th of this month! It was a beautiful over cast day and we got far too many good photos ;) They had their reception in the Capitol Building, which looked stunning! Here's a look at their big day... This first image is actually a reflection! I love how it turned out, so fun!
Congratulations to Sarah and Scott who were married on May 26th in the Logan Temple! Without fail, every wedding I've photographed at this temple had rainy weather. Of course you probably can't tell it was raining in the photos without zooming in at 100% but I couldn't be happier with the weather. What a darling couple!
Congrats to Ashley and Cameron who were married in the Salt Lake City Temple on the very chilly 23rd of December!
Congratulations to Krista and Shane who were hitched in the Salt Lake Temple on August 28th! After taking well over 700 photos I had the hardest time going through them and deciding which ones to post. I could very well post 20 different entries of just their wedding! But of course I had to minimize it down to one entry. Here are some of the highlights from their wedding day :)
Saturday afternoon I headed to the Jordan River Temple to photograph David and Mandy's wedding day. It turned out to be a hot, sunny day and we were dripping with sweat by the time we were done!
Today I photographed Daniel and Amanda's wedding at the beautiful Draper, Utah Temple! I photographed both Daniel's brother and sister's wedding in 2007 a week apart from each other. It was awesome having the opportunity to photograph the wedding of the Larsen's third child :)
Saturday was Kyle and Sarah's Utah Open House / Reception. It was in my church building and my side of the family got together to decorate to the best of our abilities ;) I came up with the center piece ideas (with the help of one of my sister in laws) and the idea for the cake... who our family friend made beautifully! Everything turned out great and we got a lot of compliments. We also had a great time visiting with family members who came from out of state!
Noah's in South Jordan is one of the newer wedding venues in the Salt Lake Valley. It's gorgeous! I've photographed at their Lindon location multiple times (although these two buildings are 100% different). Because of this, they have me down as one of their preferred wedding vendors. Being one of Noah's vendors this year, it kills me that I haven't photographed at their new location. All that came to an end last weekend when I asked Craig and Rachel if I could get some detail photos of their reception set up. They gladly accepted my request and these are the stunning photos I got of their wedding reception and venue.
Congrats to my baby brother and his beautiful wife who were married this past Saturday in the Los Angeles, CA Temple! I was so excited to be able to photograph their big day and get some amazing shots! Honestly.. this first picture is one of my favorites.. hilarious..yet fabulous at the same time :)
Saturday afternoon I headed to the Mount Timpanogos Temple to photograph Daniel and Katie's wedding! The whole week prior was rainy, so we were very excited to see sun on their big day :)
Yesterday was a very busy day for me. I started it off photographing Eric and Emily's wedding at the Salt Lake City Temple!
Yesterday I photographed Charles and Janet's wedding at the Salt Lake City Temple. There were SO many gorgeous photos I had the hardest time picking out my top favorite photos. Therefore, I had to post more than normal!
Congratulations to Aaron & Kim who were married in the Bountiful Temple on November 8, 2008!!
Yesterday November 5, 2008 was Rachel and Jordan Clark's wedding day! I was especially excited to photograph this wedding because Rachel is one of my closest friends. The day started out looking a lot like Christmas! It was snowing so much, but the weather was supposed to clear up by noon. Well... it didn't! The photos were full of snow flakes and it actually added an amazing touch. Rachel and Jordan wouldn't have had it any other way.
