Holbrook Family

This past winter while I was at the State Capitol Building photographing a family, Mr. Holbrook came up and asked if I'd be willing to photograph his family of 50. I excitedly handed him a card and a few weeks later.. there we were with his beautiful family!

Bennion Family

This post of the Bennion's session is LONG overdue! A month or so ago I went through a horrid experience of my external hard drive getting wiped clean! On that hard drive were my images of the Bennion family. They were so amazing and waited several weeks for the images to get professionally recovered. I'm happy to say, they finally have their images!!

Tindall Family

This is the Tindall family! They are probably one of the first groups that actually went to their location of choice, took pictures of spots they liked and showed me the main areas they wanted their pictures taken. It was fun to see a place I've photographed at a million times in a different perspective. Now I have a few new ideas for the next time I'm there :)

Nicholls Family

Last month I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the Nicholls' family in celebration of their wedding anniversary! This first image is my favorite family photo at the location where the couple got married 50 years ago :) We were lucky to have the building all to ourselves! The security guards were so fabulous to show us some good views, beautiful architecture and fun photo-op locations. I don't know about you, but I'm in love with these arches over the entrance!

Extended Gailey Family

This is my amazing family! My brother and his crew were in town for a couple of days, so we took advantage of it and had new portraits taken. I LOVE this photo! I must admit, my mother and family are so grateful to have a photographer in the family. But you know what I'm grateful for?? My tripod and family/friends who can push the shutter button ;) So because I set up the camera and it's setting... yes, I do claim this main photo and even my little individual family as my work! hah

Nelson Family

Thanksgiving weekend I had the pleasure of photographing the Nelson family. Even though they were on the larger size of groups I've photographed, they were probably one of the easiest! I'm posting most of the family photos in my beautiful mixed sepia editing. I think the coloring looks so pretty like this with their muted clothing colors and the barren scenery.

Sanders Family

Last month I photographed the Sanders family at the top of the canyon. Sadly the fall colors disappeared quicker than we anticipated but I think we still got some wonderful shots! Everyone was freezing but I love all the great smiles :)

Krahenbuhl Family

Last week  I had the absolute pleasure of  photographing the Krahenbuhl family! They're such a great looking bunch and really are so wonderful to work with. I think so highly of them that I told them I would love to adopt myself into their family ;) Here's a peek at what we got with our time together!

Menlove Family

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing the Menlove family! A little over 4 years ago I photographed one of their children's wedding day, it was nice to see the whole family again and see how much they've grown!

Dunn Family

Early last week I had the opportunity to photograph the Dunn family! They had already decided that they wanted pictures done near the top of the canyon, which I was really excited about. We took the photos in a spot where I've only done summer photo shoots. The fall colors already looked gorgeous and the family was pretty darn good looking as well! Here are some of my favorite shots!

The Smith Family

My Aunt, Uncle and their family were in Utah for a family reunion at Fish Lake. Every time they have these types of get-togethers they have their family portraits taken. I wasn't able to travel where they were last time and promised I'd make it this year! It was so fun hanging out with them for the day. I just love how their photos turned out!

Extended Gailey Family

This past weekend I photographed my family's portraits. Of course I had help from my awesome cousin Spencer so that I wouldn't have to use a timer on our extended family shot. Thanks Spencer! Would you believe me if I told you we took these during snow flurries?? It was FREEZING outside, yet somehow we survived!

Happy Halloween!

This family really had me laughing with their idea of a family Halloween portrait. All of their costumes were great and very creative! Seriously, check out the Grandpa there in the middle and one of the dad's on the left side. I LOVE it!

Gailey Family

Last Christmas my cousin's made up a gift certificate for family portraits taken by me and gave it to their mom. Well a couple weeks ago she redeemed that gift certificate and we took some beautiful family portraits up in the canyon!

The Burt Family

Yesterday I photographed a very awesome family, the Burt's. They were so kind and easy to work with. Quite possibly one of the easiest larger family portraits to date! Either that or I was beyond patient that day. ;)

Here's a little preview of the great shots we got...
