It's been a while since I've photographed A Failsafe Story. They got a new drummer and have been playing some gigs at local bars and getting some good exposure. As always, I was excited to work with them again! Here's a look at what we got..

This past weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Larusso's band portraits again! The band got new members and they're preparing to release their new album this spring, so it was time for new photos! We had a great time and I tried some new editing styles. I think they're awesome, hope you all agree!

If you haven't read the previous posts about Paper Route and Lights here's a recap. I was the house photographer for Owl City's show last night at Saltair! I had an amazing time and loved that I got the chance to photograph such amazing musicians. Any who, here are some of the photos I got from the ever so talented Owl City...

After taking some photos of Paper Route I decided to make my way to the front of the stage. The owner of Saltair told me she wasn't sure if I could take pictures there. Every band has different photography rules. Once I made my way past security I was thrilled to have gotten these great shots of Lights! She's SO photogenic while she plays and sings.

Last night I was the house photographer at Saltair! I've had my tickets to see Owl City for MONTHS, then the DAY OF I was given a photo pass! The first band up was Paper Route from Nashville, TN. I was set on getting a billion photos of Owl City, so I didn't take too many of Paper Route. But here's what I did get!

I know this really isn't a BIG deal, but this morning I woke up to a text message from a friend telling me I've been recognized on Neon Trees new album Habits. I was a little confused at first since I haven't photographed them in years, but was soon told that I was someone that helped them get to where they are today :) So I immediately headed to the store to buy their new album (which is in stores EVERYWHERE). When I opened up the album I saw my name... (no I wasn't the only name in blue. I wish.) and I feel so honored!

As stated in my previous post on Desert Noises, last night was the Christmas Special at Velour. Every year (I'm not sure for how long) Joshua James has played Christmas Music at Velour to get everyone in the holiday spirit! Here are a few of my favorite shots..

Last night was the annual Christmas Special at Velour and they asked me to come take some photos of the event! Two bands played that evening and the first was Desert Noises... a group of 3 guys with amazing vocals!

After yesterdays family shoot I headed up to Sandy to photograph my brother's band A Failsafe Story.

I couldn't be more thrilled than I am right now with the outcome of Ex Machina's band photos! Robbie, the singer of Ex Machina called me last week wanting to see if I still take band portraits. I photographed Mon Cheri ^{_{(the last band he sang in)}} about 3 years ago. So I was thrilled to take pictures of my dear friend once again!

Tuesday I headed out to the lead singers house of Oh, Antarctica to photograph their band portraits. They're silly boys and had a hard time keeping a serious face! But I'd rather the photos show their real personality anyway.

Last Saturday I photographed band portraits for a local band called Larusso. We did both studio style photos in one of their houses and also ventured around Salt Lake in different locations for more photos. I LOVE how they turned out and hope you all agree!
