Last weekend I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the sweetest 4 day old! I've been dying to photograph a hammock HandSpun Creations gave to me to test out and little Grayson came along just in time. He was the perfect model to test this prop with because he nearly slept the ENTIRE time!  Here's the amazing photos we got using my new favorite prop!

Earlier this month I had the opportunity to photograph this handsome guy! Mack dealt with some frightening health issues when he was born. Even though he is still a sick little boy, he's doing great and is as happy as can be! Mack did wonderful during his first photo shoot and was a total stud. I am so grateful to have met this little miracle :)

It's hard to believe that MY little baby is already 9 months old! She's growing up so fast. Emberly is just the cutest little thing with quite the personality and a fine set of vocal cords! hah! But we just love her to pieces.

Earlier this week I photographed one handsome little man! Ashton is so darling and is still rocking the mohawk that he's had since his newborn portraits. It always blows my mind how much babies change in 6 months!

Last week I got to photograph the tiniest, sweetest little baby boy. Hunter arrived 2 weeks early and was barely 6 lbs the day of his shoot. I love the photos we got!

Last weekend I photographed darling little Zoey and her parents. Since Christmas is only a month away I couldn't resist doing some photos with my new ornaments that I'll be using during my Christmas Mini Session!!

Last week I photographed sweet little Evan for his 4 month portraits! I got a new basket specifically for his shoot and was super excited to test it out. I love the photos we got and all his little chubby rolls!

It's been 4 months since I last posted pictures of my sweet Emberly on the blog. I take photos of her every month (sometimes my Facebook fan page is lucky enough to see them), but I try my hardest to only post her photos every few months! I don't want you to have a cuteness overload ;)

Kambree is so beautiful and I was so excited to photograph her last Saturday! Her photos always turn out fabulous. This time around I had two new backdrops to test on her. I looove how they turned out!

This past weekend I had the opportunity to photograph darling little Breken! After an hour and a half of fussing and 30 minutes of pure, sleepy bliss, we got so many great photographs! I'm so thrilled to share these with you :)

Earlier this week I got my hands on one of the tiniest babies I've ever photographed! Sweet, little Max was born 3 weeks early and weighed somewhere in the 5 pound range. So tiny and so precious. Plus he hardly made a peep the entire shoot!

Directly after Carsten's newborn shoot I photographed precious Daphine! I love the photos we got of her, but they didn't come without a challenge. The little sweetheart just wouldn't fall asleep. Photos when babies awake can be beautiful, but they are awfully hard to pose. 4 hours and a pizza break later, Daphine finally fell asleep and let us get these basket photos!! After that accomplishment, the wait was well worth it :)

Yesterday I bought new studio lights and props! I asked a couple of girls in my neighborhood who just had babies if they'd be willing to let me do a test shoot on their little ones. Of course they said yes and jumped on the opportunity! First I photographed sweet little Carsten. He was a total dream to work with.. especially for being 3 weeks! Here's some of the fun shots we got :)

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to photograph my cousin's adorable twins! It's hard to believe that these two were already 2 months old the day of their photoshoot. Kaden and Brooklyn entered into the world 8 weeks early, each weighing less than 3 pounds! They were fighters and were finally able to go home about a month later. Here's some of the cuteness I got to photograph!

I'm always thrilled when I get to photograph this adorable little girl! Kambree is so gorgeous and the outcome of her photos always blow me away. Here's some of the cute shots we got of this little sweetheart!

It was back to the basics with Emily's newborn shoot! Her parents weren't big fans of crazy props or detailed backdrops. Photographing a simple newborn shoot almost  shook up my groove! But I think they turned out fabulous. Glad to know I'm not 100 % dependent on the fun props that I've gotten so used to! ;)

Last week I had an enjoyable shoot with this little sweety. It's hard to believe that baby Carsen is already 7 months old! She was quite serious during her shoot, but I'm glad we got a few smiles out of her.

Introducing our beautiful daughter, Emberly Atkins! Born March 26, 2011 at 1:36 in the afternoon. Weighing in at 7 lbs 15 oz and 20 inches long. We are so thrilled to finally hold this little girl in our arms. She's our world! :)

Congrats to the Ritz family on their new baby boy! Bentley was amazing during his newborn shoot. He fell asleep rather quickly and let me do some fun poses with him. Truly a dream baby to work with :)

Last weekend I photographed beautiful Alyson for her 6 month portraits! Her parents bought a 3 shoot baby plan package and I must admit, I'm terribly sad this may be the last time I see little Alyson, especially if her daddy gets a new job out of state next month. Regardless, I'm so glad I had the opportunity to meet this sweet family and to photograph their darling daughter!

Last week I photographed sweet little Kambree. I did her newborn portraits when she was 5 days old. She wasn't feeling too well the first few weeks she was born, which is why they booked another shoot when she was a tad older. I just love how these turned out! Kambree is a total cutie :)

This past weekend I photographed Ryder's 9 month portraits! I can't believe how fast time has flown by. I remember taking his 6 month portraits like it was yesterday... let alone his newborns! What a handsome boy though, I love how these turned out :)

Earlier this week I photographed my cousin's handsome little guy, Bridger. He was such a turkey for his newborn shoot _{(which still resulted into adorable photos)} and still refused to give us a huge smile this time around! Big smile or not, I love how these turned out :)

The Hobley kids are quite adorable and super sweet. This little girl is so polite and loved playing with my box of boas, necklaces, bracelets and rings.

Congratulations to Heather and Peter on their new little bundle of joy! Kambree put up a good fight the entire shoot, but I just love the photos we got. She is absolutely adorable!

I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas!! Now it's time for me to play catch up! A little over a week ago I photographed adorable little Alyson for her 3 month portraits. I love how these turned out! She is such a doll and did so well :)
