This past weekend while I was in California for my baby brother's wedding I got to photograph Schuyler and Catherine's engagements! I've known Sky for quite a few years and I've even photographed his band Lost Ocean a few times as well! I was so excited when they asked me to be their wedding photographer. I'll be back down there for their wedding in Templeton next month and I can't wait!! Anyway, we came up with some fun ideas and here's what we got...

Sky and Cat are both very musically talented! When we were plotting some ideas for engagements I asked them if they could get their hands on an upright piano. Right away Sky was on the task and easily got a hold of one since he's in the music department at CSUB. We wheeled the piano out on the grass by the music building and I started snapping away!

Now these aren't just posed duet pictures, they were actually playing while I took pictures. People who were outside studying had some very nice music to listen to :)

After a bit of fun with the piano we decided to just wander around campus. It was so cute when they told me doing engagements on campus would be fitting because that's where they met!

Next we decided it'd be fun to take some pictures in an orchard. I'm on a big orchard kick right now if you can't tell! This one wasn't the most well lit orchard, but the photos still turned out adorable.

If you've ever been to Bakersfield, CA you'll know that it's not the most scenic place to take pictures, but after looking through the photos I am absolutely pleased with the outcome! Hope you all agree! :)
