Just for fun!

After Saturdays photo session canceled due to a sick baby I was totally in the mood to shoot. I've realized that over the past couple of years I've been concentrating so much on clients that I haven't shot for myself. I really wanted to do something fun, but work on my portraits at the same time. So I set up a little "play date" for Ian (my hubby) and two of his friends. Little did they know that I had made up a scheme to photograph them :) Here's what we got!!

First we'll start off with my amazingly hot hubby Ian... doesn't he look good?!

We even got our cat Silly involved in the shoot! hah

I love Ian's expression in this next shot! Totally cracks me up!

Now we'll move on to Drew. He's so hilarious! He acted so awkward, but I love the photos his awkwardness produced :)

Personally my favorite is the VERY first photo up top next to Ian and Aaron.

Then there's Aaron... I think he felt the most shy out of the three. It kinda cracked me up since I've photographed him before with his band Larusso.

I guess he felt pretty shy and awkward because at the last minute (unbeknownst to him I had this plan alllll along mwwahaha) I told him to take off his shirt. He looks like a Calvin Klein model..esp in the black and white photo. :)

I also had Aaron and Ian do some tricks for me. I do believe Aaron was a little better at it! haha

Every once in a while Ian gets his hands on one of my cameras and tries to snap a few pictures. Like A LOT of people who know nothing about photography his composition is horrible. So I've tried teaching him how to keep limbs in the photo or to at least not crop them off in weird places. I modeled for him so he'd get the hang of it. So here's some photos he took of me.. I'm so proud of his work... AND my editing! heh

I tried doing some funky poses to see how he'd crop it... but check it out! My feet are in the pictures! Yay I'm so proud of him right now :) Now I just need to teach him how to use the functions on the camera so I don't need to check the exposure every couple of shots!

Sorry I know it's kind of silly to post photos of myself that I didn't even take, but he just made me look so good. How could I not post them?! ;) Of course I had to do some additional cropping, but overall I give him an A + +

My handstand skills are unparalleled. Perfecting them made all of the impatience and set damage worth it ;)

That shoot was pretty funny. I loved the shots with silly and Ian. Also I think Aaron's shots came out really well- a friend of mine was quite taken by his unruly sexiness (and she is a chick, so it's okay). Thanks, Wendy!

Wendy all of these pictures are SOOOOO GREAT!!! Seeing as how I am soon to be your sister-in-law aaron don't take this all creepy but your Calvin Klein photo, the one with your shirt off, is LEGIT!!!

that must have been so much fun! next time you have a shoot just for fun, call me! i'll model and just help ya out, all that fun stuff. :)

So I love those shots. I like the ones of you upside down. We should have done some like that for Jeff's calendar that would have been cool. Anyway love those shoes!

I love this photo shoot! So much fun captured! You are so talented!

thank you! :)
