Bridger - 1 week
Last week I got to photograph my cousin's newest arrival, Bridger! He's totally adorable and looks just like his big brothers :)
Tessa brought along THE cutest news boy hat EVER. I love that first shot!
Another cousin of mine makes cute crochet hats for little girls and made me that adorable hammock! I think Bridger might have been a little too small for it though. We had to stuff it so he'd be high enough to show off his cute face! I'm super excited to play around with it a little more. :)
Here's my beautiful cousin in law a week before she had Bridger! She wasn't due until the end of this month, so we did her maternity portraits during my studio special. Well low and behold she had him a few weeks early! I think she looks fabulous for practically being on the verge of labor!

Oh man, I am SO sorry that the hammock was too "tall," but it still looks cute:) I guess it goes to show that those little newborns are just so tiny!!...it's pretty sad that I couldn't remember that, considering I'm a mother, but hey, it's been over 2 years since mine was a baby!
So cute! I've been looking through the blog of another photographer, and she never has any pictures of the babies awake! A few sleepy ones are cute, but I like to see their eyes. You do a great job!!

Tracey! At first I thought it'd be too small.. but it stretched out. He's pretty tiny though. You did a great job with it! Now I know I can probably put older babies in it :)
Tonya - There's a good reason for that. Newborns are so much easier to pose when they're asleep. Little Bridger just wouldn't fall completely asleep! My mom loves seeing their eyes too :)

HE is so adorable and sweet.
That hat is really cute, to fit the cute baby inside it. I also love the 2 with him laying down with his eyes open. although when Aubree was a baby I loved the one with her sleeping on a stuffed animal with a cute headband on. It's great to get one of him so small, he'll grow so fast.
QUESTION~ do you SELL the little hammocks? I have TONS of friends having babies right now, and what a unique and awesome gift this would make!!!!!! just thought I would inquire....
